A mum saved her water-stained suede sofa from the skip, completely transforming it with a £1 cleaning spray.
In the before photos you can see that the sofa was covered in water marks and was discoloured after many years of use.
And, instead of purchasing a new one, she sought out a product that cleaning fanatic Mrs Hinch is regularly seen using.
However, Mrs Hinch most commonly uses the spray for removing smudges from glass tables.
Instead, Sammy decided to try her luck and tested the spray on her stained sofas.
She captioned the post: “Posted few days back about the water stains on my sofa (sons water bottle kept leaking didn’t realise as had throw on) pretty chuffed. Not perfect and will prob do some bits again but happy with the outcome”.
The £1 Elbow Grease spray can be found in The Range, and appears to be a miracle worker.
Sammy explained that she sprayed the Elbow Grease on the sofa and with the help of a rough textured brush, she gave it a good scrub.
Then wiped it clean with a dry cloth and it was as good as new.
A number of other Mrs Hinch fans praised her on her handy hack.
One person said: “Jeez! I’d have thrown it looking at it! Who would have thought it would come up like new! Fab job!!”
And another agreed: “Brilliant, I’ve got the same sofa and have been wondering how to clean it, I’m definitely going to get it sorted now x”
And a third said: “How the bloody hell did you restore it ?!! Looks fantastic I’m shocked”.
